What twiga is

Account-based software. Your provider login is sealed in your browser with your key. The server stores ciphertext and opens it in memory while you’re signed in, then wipes it 30 minutes after your session goes quiet. The server fetches your playlist and guide, routes the stream bytes through twiga’s exits, and the player (the web player today; the TV app is in testing) talks only to your twiga account.

Every stream leaves from one of twiga’s own exits, so the stream address in your provider’s log is ours. Your ISP sees encrypted traffic to twiga.tv. The relay passes your provider’s bytes along without decoding them, and your browser does the decoding.

What twiga is not

• Not a content provider. We don't sell, license, schedule, or curate channels. You bring your own.
• Not a broadcaster. The streams are yours and your provider's. We don't claim them.
• Not a consumer VPN app. We don't install a VPN client on your device — no profile, no kernel extension, no daemon.
• Not a circumvention tool. We don't crack DRM, scrape feeds, or share streams between users.
• Not a card-metered subscription. Free during the beta; after the beta you pay in Monero from your own wallet — no card, no bank, no ID, and no stored link between the payment and your account.
